Midland Meat Company beef has won hundreds of awards since our doors opened in 2015. Some of our most notable awards include: 

• Best Worldwide Ribeye x7
• San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Grand Champion brisket 2023
• San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo: 1st place Wagyu brisket in 2022, 2023 and 2024; 1st place Angus brisket in 2026.
• American Royal Association Grand Champion brisket 2022 and 2023
• Houston Stock Show and Rodeo World Champion brisket 2017 & 2018

Midland Meat Company has won numerous awards for our ribeye at the Triple Crown Steak Challenge in Auburn, Alabama. This competition judges beef in its raw form based on IMF analysis, tenderness analyses and total fatty acid profile.

• 2025: Grand Champion Angus Ribeye
• 2024: Grand and Reserve Champion Wagyu Ribeye
• 2017-2023: Grand Champion Wagyu Ribeye 

For nine consecutive years, Midland Meat Company has been voted Best Meat by the Midland Reporter-Telegram Readers’ Choice Awards.

In 2026, we were honored with Gold awards for Best Business Website, Best Farm Fresh and Best Meat Market; Silver awards for Best Employees, Best Employer – Less Than 100, Best Grocery Store and Best Locally Owned Business; and Bronze awards for Best Organic Produce and Best Produce.
